The Descending Idiot

There are a lot to be interpreted in this drawing. One interpretation is that since this idiot appears to be falling through the clouds, she must've been banished from heaven and diving into the glowing pits below. Or this one. The idiot's childlike imagination has begun to fall apart, hence her somewhat puzzled expression. Or maybe she gave up on her life, given of her careless looks and limp body.
