First fanart of Red Dead Redemption 2.

I played the first game around 2010 when I was a teen. Sadly, I didn't make it far because I scratched the CD when I tilted the Xbox upright while it was running :(

I however have tried playing the game through an emulator recently. It plays pretty well, and the controls don't seem to age really bad. But appearance-wise, things like foliage flicker about, and looking at the highest resolution of 720p up close wasn't preferable. Fingers crossed for the unlikely RDR remake.

Red Dead Redemption 2 felt like a journey. I mostly favor trudging through the woods and coming across oddities and strangers. I love the story and characters, and how things had fallen into place before the first game.
