Sadderpunk 2077

Despite all the flaws and controversies surrounding Cyberpunk 2077, I still like the game. The characters and story are interesting, there are plenty of things to do and the worldbuilding and soundtrack are amazing.

The game however is largely unfinished. Combat is pretty meh, AI isn't as good as even the 2000s GTA games, things clip and float on occasion, control bindings are pretty awkward, the interface can unintentionally get screwy, models render too slow even when I'm close by, the game sometimes crashes, my character slips and slides out of control from time to time, people and cars pop in near me, police isn't implemented very well, features might be lacking and there aren't many parking spots in Night City. I haven't even gone so far in the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 is obviously overhyped. It was announced back then in like 2012 when I was a high school junior and it steadily gained traction and anticipation up until now.

I'm not jumping onto the hate bandwagon but I'm still disappointed, especially with the controversies going on. I hope that CDPR will pull a No Man's Sky and improve the game to meet its intended standards.
