Lo-Placebo was a mysterious and anonymous ambient music group from the mid 70s. Their music usually contains slow tunes, slide whistles, tribal drums, kazoos, and whale sounds. Sometimes there is singing, but the voices are too distorted that people would often look up the lyrics (and even the lyrics are incomprehensible.) Even to this day, there are debates and theories on if the group even exists or not due to the lack of appearances. Nevertheless, Lo-Placebo had seventeen albums produced before they were threatened by album cover destruction events.
Around 1982, their albums were burned along with rock music albums by Christian Fundamentalists who thought they hear demons in their music. In 2011, a swarm of conspirators destroyed tons of Lo-Placebo albums because they highly believed that their music will "anger nearby aliens and provoke them to take purple from the earth by force." Lo-Placebo is currently inactive ever since.
